2017 TRIP
WE HAD AN AMAZING TRIP!
We had an incredible mix of people divinely come together for this trip. It was very ministry oriented and as a result we had 8 people get baptized. We served 2 incredible families and came back with our perspectives changed and our hearts on fire for this town and for serving God!
DAY 1 - FRIDAY
Got an early morning start and left Watermark OC at 6am! We got to the build site earlier than ever before and got straight to work! Our first day was extremely productive, setting us up for an easy second day. We then had a wonderful meal at our favorite restaurant, Tito's!
DAY 2 - SATURDAY
Had a hearty breakfast at the hotel and got to the build site ready to work! Both sites completed the houses mid way through the day so we decided to do both key ceremonies this day. These are always so emotional and bring us back to the heart of why we do this. We then had a great dinner all together and got to share our experiences about the trip.
DAY 3 - SUNDAY
Our final day! Since we already had the key ceremonies on Saturday we simply helped set up for Sunday service with Nueva Casa. We enjoyed Pastor Fransisco's message and we were then privileged to witness 8 baptisms! Only 1 was planned, the rest were lead by the spirit. What a special day it was. We then said goodbye to the families and headed home. Hearts happy, bodies tired, spirits filled.

WHAT THE TEAM THOUGHT
If you want to see what Gods heart looks like, volunteer for one of these build trips. (John 15:13)
Rudy Rodriguez
Was able to see and spend a bit of time with two of the girls from our last house build and pray over them. Was there to be a light in their day of time alone by themselves while the rest of their household was off working. They had the biggest smiles on their faces when they saw Jordan and I show up at their door. They had moved into house we were able to build for them last year and fun to see how they decorated it and everything.
Tessa Smith
Every trip is unique and this trip was no different. We were able to see how God was working between our team and the family we were serving. It was incredibly powerful and set fires in some souls.
